Beginner Lessons

New to American Majhong? I'll make it easy! My beginner course is a two-lesson series designed to take you from learning the basics to playing the game.

Lesson 1: The basics -- understanding the National Mah Jongg League (NMJL) card, the rules, and the tiles.

Lesson 2: Putting it all together -- building walls, dealing, the Charleston, and plenty of hands-on practice playing the game.

No previous experience needed.

Beginner lessons are held at Stepping Stone (2nd floor) in Wellesley, MA.

$120 per person for the two-part series.

Private Lessons
